Peggieline was born in Ghana and later became a US Citizen in 1997. In 1970 she was hired as a secretary in the Embassy of Ghana, were she still works.
In 2008 Peggieline’s uncle, Amuah-Afenyi V died and rituals were done to find the new king. On the 25th of September 2008 that honor was given to Peggieline. She inherited the title was Amuah-Afenyi VI, Nana of of Tantum(or Otaum). With her title she received 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) family-owned estate and an eight-bedroom palace, and chiefdom of Tantum, a fishing villiage.
Now she spends several weeks a year in the village and will move there on retirement.
